Superb ridge walking in the Brecon Beacons National Park. We've had some cracking trips to this area in the past with stunning views all day. It might be springtime walking or winter mountaineering! Come prepared. We have booked a bijou 8 places at The Star Bunkhouse, to reflect the usual level of demand in this month. May Day in the mountains

May 4 - May 6

The first camping meet of the year. This year we've booked 12 places at the Snowden Base Camp. The campsite overlooks Cwellyn Lake and has spectacular uninterrupted views towards Mount Snowdon and Mynydd Mawr with various forestry walks on it’s doorstep. The river Gwyrfai runs alongside both camping fields to Cwellyn Lake. The amenity block is open 24/7 and is located on the first field near the main carpark. Late May in the Lakes

For the late May bank holiday the club are heading to Chapel Stile at the entrance to the stunning Great Langdale Valley at the heart of the Lake District.  We'll be staying at Baysbrown Farm Campsite.  This is a superb location for fell walking and climbing.
