Snow in the Costa Blanca

JohnB, Nick, Clare, and MarkW flew to Calpe in November, also joined by Linda and friend Sue from Barcelona, for what was supposed to be a 'hot rock' week. It turned out to be mixed weather, infact the worst storm for 40 years, followed by unseasonably low temperatures. So low in fact, that it snowed.

The coast was lashed by gale force winds and waves big enough to destroy the promenade at Calpe.

The sun did make an appearance for a couple of days. Rock was climbed, bolts were clipped and cerveza was drunk.
