We staying at Cae Du Campsite, just outside Beddgelert, on the left as you approach from Capel Curig on A498. Fantastic walking, climbing and mountain biking.

Please let the meet organiser know well in advance if you want to go on a meet, especially if you need transport. Also, don’t forget to let them know if you later decide to stay at home!

Bull and Mouth, London: Wed 15th May

A central location this time - 31 Bloomsbury Way, London WC1. The nearest tube stations are Tottenham Court Road and Holborn. Meet from 7:30. Contact Wendy Kewley (m) 07718 424524.

Bread and Roses, Clapham: Wed 12th June

A new venue for pub meets, the Bread and Roses serves good food and has a garden for sitting in the hopefully warm summer sun. Situated a little way up Clapham Manor Street in Clapham. Nearest tubes are Clapham Common and Clapham North and Clapham High St station is nearby. Meet from 7:30.

Pub Nights

If you are a prospective member then this is your chance to meet the Club. You will probably recognise us by our fleeces and a copy of this news letter lying around. See Pub Nights for upcoming venues.

Jazz evening: Thursday 16th May

Jazz Cafe, Camden. Jimmy Smith "is the leading jazz/blues hammond organ player in the world". The price is £31-50 per person and includes the entrance fee and a meal. If you want to go please contact Edmund as soon as possible as tables need to be booked.

Frostbite Night

Catherine Hartley's Frostbite night was well attended with the room being packed to capacity. Thanks to Catherine for a most entertaining lecture and to all those who attended for giving generously.
