87, Noel Rd, Angel, Islington. Nearest tube is Angel. Turn right out of the
station and take the first road on the right. Walk down the road until you reach the canal. Turn right
and immediately left so that you are walking with the canal on your left. Turn left across the bridge

Pub Nights If you are a prospective member then this is your chance to meet the Club.
You will probably recognise us by our fleeces and a copy of this news letter lying around.

It’s Summer (no, really)
With summer coming on, most people take the opportunity to head outdoors
over the weekends instead of hanging around London to attend social events. However, a number of
people hold impromptu events.

If you would like to be included in these events, or host an event, please contact
Edmund. Edmund will then send out mail to all interested parties informing them of the event.
Messages will also be posted to the Tea Shop on the web site.

Edmund Marler is the social secretary, so if you have any exciting ideas for
outings, expeditions, or just plain old-fashioned get-togethers, let Edmund know.

Subscriptions are now due
Your MMC annual subscription of £12 is now due. Please send this amount (cheques made out to
the MMC) to Wendy Kewley or hand it to one of the
committee members. Anyone who has joined the club since June will be carried over into next year.

AGM: 22nd October
This will take place on Tuesday 22nd October at the Nell of Old Drury pub in Drury Lane. This is a good
opportunity for members to raise any issues they have with the club and to comment on the club happenings
of the previous year. In addition, the new committee will be voted in. If you would like to be considered
for a post then please contact Tom Dixon (h) 0118 967 2083, (w) 01628 434751 or email
tdixon@nortelnetworks.com. The positions are as follows: Chair, Vice-chair, Treasurer, Newsletter, Secretary, Information Officer, Social Secretary, Membership, Meets Secretary.
A free drink will be offered to all members who attend. Meet from 7:30. The AGM will start at 8pm. The agenda will be as follows:
