Steve Melvin plays with a band every Monday at the Three Stags Pub in Kennington Lane, nearest tube Lambeth North. This is an informal "jamming session" and a number of members have been meeting on a Monday to support Steve, enjoy the atmosphere and to catch up with fellow club members. Your MMC annual subscription of £12 is now due. Please send this amount (cheques made out to the MMC) to Wendy Kewley or hand it to one of the committee members. Anyone who has joined the club since June will be carried over into next year.

Lee is selling his Dawes Discovery 501 city bike. It's midway between a full road bike and a mountain bike - ideal for London. It is 3 years old but practically unused - stored indoors all that time. This will take place on Tuesday 22nd October at the Nell of Old Drury pub in Drury Lane. This is a good opportunity for members to raise any issues they have with the club and to comment on the club happenings of the previous year. In addition, the new committee will be voted in.
