We’re spending a week in Scotland, join us! We will be based in Ballachulish, nestled in the Glen Coe.
To our Prospective Members – we support our members in showing the ropes to new hikers and climbers. However, Scotland in the winter and bordering spring months requires care and reasonable winter outdoor experience.
Please recognise if you haven’t had any trad-climbing training yet (if the weather allows for trad climbing) as a seconder or joined us in the previous winter meets / appropriate gear for the winter or variable weather, you may be requested to re-plan your activities to flatter / more level ground if the members do not feel comfortable to take you out. This is a decision we will support.
The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.
