SUMMARY:A Dinner in the Lake District
DESCRIPTION:Ending our 50th fabulous year as a Mountaineering Club\, we’ll be holding our yearly Dinner Meet in the Lake District! The meet will run from Thursday to Sunday\, so plenty of time to do whatever you fancy doing. \nWe’ll have loads to get up to –  \n\nDo you fancy hiking and walking? We’ll be based in the Coppermines Valley with some incredible history among the fells including modern mining and quarrying marks all over. The Old Man of Coniston and all the routes around it are plentiful. You’ll be more than welcome to join us. \nCost \nWe have the YHA booked for us for three nights\, though we understand not everyone can travel on Thursday so we have two options: \n\nThree Nights: £82 – three nights are perfect for long distance travelling\, you’ll have more time for adventures!\nTwo Nights: £68 – a great deal also and great for those who cannot travel on Thursday.\n\n— \nTo our Prospective Members – we support our members in showing the ropes/paths to new climbers or hikers\, however please recognise that you may be requested to change your plans to flatter ground if members (who are mainly not outdoor professionals) do not feel comfortable to take you out. This is a decision we will support.  \nThe BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.
