SUMMARY:Dartmoor in August
DESCRIPTION:This is a great venue for both walking and climbing. The Dart valley is as green and pleasant as the moor is windswept and bracing. The beech woods of Dewerstone with the river Plym leaping through it are unique. The river Dart is pictured below. There is bouldering\, single pitch and top rope opportunities on the magnificent Tors\, granite outcrops (pictured below) and steep multi pitch climbing on granite at the Dewerstone including the classic test piece Climbers Club Direct HVS. There are also limestone venues although they can be somewhat polished. \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nCampsite Yeo Farm\, near Loddiswell\, Devon.
