DESCRIPTION:Time for something a little different! \nJoin us in Swinley Forest for a day of mountain biking. \nDate: 6th November 2021 \nLocation: Swinley Forest (Bracknell) – https://www.bracknell-forest.gov.uk/leisure-services/look-out/swinley-forest/visit-swinley-forest \nTime: 10:30 (Arrival) \nBike Hire: Swinley Bike Hub – https://www.swinleybikehub.com/hire/ \nPub: The Golden Retriever – https://www.vintageinn.co.uk/restaurants/south-east/thegoldenretrieverbracknell \nRegister your interest with Matt: socialsec@themmc.org.uk  \nWe will try to plan and manage the day based on those who attend\, adjusting the distance and trails accordingly. \nYou will need a mountain bike in good working condition. For those that don’t have their own bike\, please contact the Swinley Bike Hub to hire one (booking as early as possible is highly recommended).  Booking for 4 hours from 11am – 3pm should be enough for most people. \nThey also hire helmets for those who are in need. \nYou will need to be competent in riding a bike to get the most out of the day. \nThis is not a training event\, but there will be experienced riders there able to give advice and support. \nFor more information on the riding at Swinley please see https://www.swinleybikehub.com/trails/ \nSwinley Forest also has plenty of woodland walking should people wish to go for a walk. \nThere is no pub on site\, but for those who are interested we will decamp to the Golden Retriever pub afterwards for tea and medals. \nPlease contact Matt if you are unsure about what to expect\, what to wear/bring or hiring bikes.
