SUMMARY:Social & prep for winter hill walking/ New Year meet
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a chat about gear\, meet locations and some armchair navigation practise ahead of the winter season. Hill walking continues all year round. Some of our best trips are in the months when the mountains are dusted with snow. refresh your memory\, or start picking up tips at this event and then come along to the Wye Valley meet (Oct) to practice navigation in a benign environment\, in the autumn colours. \nThis event is also an opportunity for those interested in the New Year meet to Tafrout\, Morocco\, to get together for planning and generally getting exicted. \nArrive by 6pm for a Thai meal or anytime thereafter for drinks before the informal talk starts at 7pm\, in the upstairs room of the Lemon Tree\, Covent Garden. \nLet Jules know if you’d like to come by emailing: socialsec@themmc.org.uk \nSun 17 Sept 2017  (6pm to eat) 7-8.30pm \nThe Lemon Tree\n4 Bedfordbury \nLondon\nWC2N 4BP
