SUMMARY:MMC Bouldering Competition
DESCRIPTION:The MMC will be hosting it’s first bouldering competition on 16 February 2019 at Harrowall\, the UK’s largest bouldering centre.  The event will consist of 25 routes ranging from V1 to V8 and there will be prizes for the top climbers.  Climbing will commence at 1500 and finish at 1800\, followed by a curry at the local pub.  Keep an eye out for further information but more importantly…get training!

SUMMARY:Brecon Beacons
DESCRIPTION:Superb ridge walking in the Brecon Beacons National Park. We’ve had some cracking trips to this area in the past with stunning views all day. It might be springtime walking or winter mountaineering! Come prepared. \nWe have booked a bijou 8 places at The Star Bunkhouse\, to reflect the usual level of demand in this month. The similarly sized meet to Robin Hood’s Bay\, Yorkshire\, was great fun and very memorable. \n \nThe Star Bunkhouse is self-catering with a fully equipped kitchen: Microwaves\, ovens\, toasters\, kettles\, fridges\, and freezer.  Nearest shops: The Gate Shop: post office & general store (0.3miles)\, The Welsh Venison Centre: farm & gift shop (0.8 miles)\, Crickhowell (6 miles)\, Brecon (8 miles). Nearest pub: The New Inn\, Bwlch is across the road.
