SUMMARY:Day trip - or own campsite booking Wye Valley
DESCRIPTION:In view of the continuing restrictions we are not organising lift-shares or accommodation though we understand that campsites are beginning to open up if you fancy staying a night. \nWhat we are planning to do is climbing and walking at Wintour’s leap on Saturday 22 August. \nThis is easily done as a day trip from London and we expect to meet in the carpark (see https://www.thebmc.co.uk/modules/RAD/View.aspx?id=744) at 12 midday for the climbers to walk up to the crag together and the walkers to set off on a walk in the Wye valley. \nOrganiser: Nick Round. DESCRIPTION:Due to the likely pressure on UK holiday destinations this August Bank holiday the committee have decided to cancel the meet on this weekend. SUMMARY:Bank Holiday at Richmond Park
DESCRIPTION:For the bank holiday we’ll be avoiding the outward-bound crowds as best as possible and heading to Richmond Park for a picnic and optional walk.\n \nThere’s a wonderful circular walk (Tamsin Trail) which we are proposing to do for those who would like / are able.
