DESCRIPTION:The Castle is home to many of our members – let’s go there and join them for a fun afternoon! \n\nDate: Sunday 30 March 2025\nTime: 12pm – 5pm\nClosest Station: Manor House Underground Station (Piccadilly Line)\nOrganiser: Mo  socialsec@themmc.org.uk\nSign up: https://bit.ly/3Qj76PF \nPub/Foods: From 3pm we’ll go to The Brownswood Pub: https://thebrownswood.co.uk/ for some food\, snacks\, and chatter.\n\n\nProspectives – All prospective members to the club must let us know they are joining us so we can look out for you. \nMembers – you’re more than welcome to join! Let us know if you’re coming along. \nNon-Castle members will need to pre-book or pay on arrival. Please check their website.  \nIf you do not have your own climbing shoes\, harness or belay device you should be able to hire them from their shop. \nIf you want to lead climb\, we would suggest you bring your own single rope. A 30m rope would be ideal\, but any length will work. \nThis is not a training session\, but we should have experienced members on hand to observe your belaying technique if you are new to the club\, or you’d like us to observe any rusty skills post-long periods off climbing. \nThe BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.
