DESCRIPTION:Slightly impromptu – I’m going for a walk on Saturday 18th from Finsbury Park to Alexandra Palace. Fancy joining in? We have a list of non-exhaustive winter gear items here. We are happy to try to help you find decently priced gear or ask members if they have any extras. \nWhile our club members are very friendly and love taking newbies out\, please be aware that the Committee are in full support of members refusing to take someone out with them if they don’t feel comfortable to do so. Usually this will be because the individual may not have the appropriate gear or experience and most members are not rescue or medical personnel or mountaineering guides. Please enjoy the mountains safely! \nThe BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death.
