DESCRIPTION:Back to Portland we go for some sport climbing! (in a change from previously listed Swanage). \nThe days may be shorter and cooler but that’s a great time to try hard climbing sport. \n\nDate: Friday 18th October – Sunday 23rd October 2024 (change of date)\nTime: When you or your travelling group is ready!\nLocation: Portland Bunkhouse – so no camping and all bedding provided! The bunkhouse has a kitchen and living room too. \nOrganiser: Anna Z\, if you haven’t received the invite via email\, please contact via: meets@themmc.org.uk\nRegistration Form: https://forms.gle/oRinNRPT52UD16ZPA\n\nTo our Prospective Members – we support our members in showing the ropes to new climbers\, however please recognise if you haven’t had any trad-climbing training yet as a seconder or have had regular indoor rope experience (for sport climbing)\, you may be requested to join the walking group(s) if the climbing leaders do not feel comfortable to take you out. This is a decision we will support.  \nThe BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.
