With an ominous forecast including Storm Dave (shurely not!) only the brave arrived. Friday was damp and windy and people took gentle walks and visited St Ives, ate nice food and even bought a painting.

On Saturday Rob did the well attended Lands End park run. David, Alix, Rick, Angela, Ali and Martin went for a walk from Lands End which involved bird watching. The wind gradually increased during the day until the maelstrom hit the campsite on Saturday evening while we were hiding in The First And Last Inn. The maelstrom destroyed Ali and Martin’s tent. They went home.

Sunday was a lovely day so Rick and David went to climb at Tater Du. The targeted VS was rather wet so Rick selected a somewhat less well travelled and taxing VS. Angela and Alix went to Lamorna Cove where Angela painted. Alix got a swim in as did Rob in a neighbouring cove. Both reported the conditions as challenging.

Monday was also a lovely day so Alix and David went to Bosi and climbed Ochre Slab II (again). Rick and Angela met a friend and also climbed OS2.
Robin saw a seal! 🦭
