Changing up how we meet our new members, we are now doing the top-rope belaying check with new and prospective members at Harrison’s Rocks. The belaying check is important for your own and our member’s safety. Experienced members will be putting up the top ropes on routes for you to try. So you’ll get the double whammy of discovering the joys of sandstone (ehem) and meeting new people at the same time.

 

New members equipment required:
– Climbing shoes, harness, and chalk bag.
– Food, water, warm clothing.

Experienced members, please bring the above. If you have offered/are willing to help out with equipment, please liaise with the group.

Station: Eridge
Trains from London Bridge are every hour.
– Experienced members setting up routes, please meet on the platform for the 09:07 train.
– Everyone else, including new members, please meet on the platform for the 10:07 train.

You’ll be guided to Harrison’s by a regular member who knows the route. We currently cannot say whether we can go to the pub for dinner yet due to the current health situation.
