As the tides around the UK coasts are inconvenient on the Bank Holiday weekend this year, we’re heading back to Dartmoor. The area offers varied climbing and bouldering on granite (and some limestone) as well as delightful walking. The Dart valley is as green and pleasant as the moor is windswept and bracing. The beech woods of Dewerstone with the river Plym leaping through it are unique.
