It’s North Wales, but further East than we usually hang out! Llangollen has plenty of limestone to go at for the climbers, including loads of sport routes at Trevor Quarry and trad at Dinbren Crags. It’s a hidden gem!

It’s also a beautiful area to walk through, including a UNESCO World Heritage Site which covers the eleven miles of canal from Chirk Bank to Horseshoe Falls. Or if you want to gain a bit more height there’s the 8.5km Panorama walk that takes you up to Creifiau Eflwyseg, with spectacular views of the surrounding mountain range.
