Join us at The Castle for some indoor climbing on what is likely to be a cold and wet December day, followed by drinks in the The Naturalist pub in Woodberry Down (10 mins from the Castle).

As this is the last MMC event of 2021 we thought we’d make it something of a seasonal special.  Anyone who comes gets their name put in a hat, and in the pub names will be pulled out at random – the lucky people will win a prize!  First prize is a brand new collapsable 1L water bottle (RRP £24.99), Second, Third and Fourth prizes are pieces of Crag Swag (gear retrieved from routes that were left in situ by other climbers).  Who knows, there may be other prizes as well… you will have to come along to find out 🙂

If you do not have your own climbing shoes, harness or belay device these can be hired from The Castle shop.

If you want to Lead Climb, we would suggest you bring your own single rope.  A 30m rope would be ideal, but any length will work.

This is not a training session, but we will have experienced members on hand to observe your belaying technique if you are new to the club or you’d like us to observe any rusty skills post-long periods off climbing.
