A convenient location for a climbing weekend!
There are many sport climbing routes in the area’s former quarries, and there are Trad climbing routes at Symonds Yat and Wintours Leap to name just a few choice spots.
Some of these crags also offer multi-pitch climbs as well, but worth noting that abseiling can be required on some routes. Regardless, it’s a great place to be.
Walks are suitable for everyone in the Wye Valley AONB – from short riverside strolls to long-distance challenges and from woodland rambles to windswept viewpoints. Offa’s Dyke is a popular one, but you could take any route that you fancy. And if none of that has taken your fancy, there’s a river nearby for some water sports also.
Come along and have some fun. If the weather is great, we usually try to eat and hang out at the campsite!
