We haven’t seen Dartmoor in a bit so we’re hopping over there for this meet and bank holiday. It’s a beautiful national park with wild horses grazing about!

The campsite is £9 per person, per night. 

Climbers have a good range of climbing options, including some very cool Tors in view of all the national park visitors and wild horses.

To our Prospective Members – we support our members in showing the ropes to new climbers, however please recognise if you haven’t had any trad-climbing training yet as a seconder or have had regular indoor rope experience (for sport climbing), you may be requested to join the walking group(s) if the climbing leaders do not feel comfortable to take you out. This is a decision we will support. There will be a specific training meet a bit later in the year.

The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.
