We’re finally going to Croatia – a great place for hiking and climbing, there will be something for everyone!

• Travel: Expect to fly – we’ve checked train travel options and these are complicated and limited.
• Location: To be confirmed – we expect a rented space with potentially a camping option for those who really want it.

To our Prospective Members – we support our members in showing the ropes to new climbers, however please recognise if you haven’t had any trad-climbing training yet as a seconder or have had regular indoor rope experience (for sport climbing), you may be requested to join the walking group(s) if the climbing leaders do not feel comfortable to take you out. This is a decision we will support. There will be a specific training meet a bit later in the year. For international meets, we strongly advise you go to previous meets with the club.

The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.
