Have you considered climbing or hiking with a club but not sure where to start? Come along to our socials to meet us!

For this weekend, we’re running our social climb at The Castle, followed by drinks in the The Brownswood Pub across the road.

This is a great opportunity to meet the club if you are new to us, or to meet up with fellow members if it’s been awhile, and to do lots of climbing of course!

If you’re a hiker, please feel free to join us at the pub. The food is nice and the atmosphere nice and friendly.

Non-Castle members will need to pre-book or pay on arrival at The Castle.

If you do not have your own climbing shoes, harness or belay device these can be hired from The Castle shop.

If you want to Lead Climb, we would suggest you bring your own single rope.  A 30m rope would be ideal, but any length will work.

This is not a training session, but we will have experienced members on hand to observe your belaying technique if you are new to the club or you’d like us to observe any rusty skills post-long periods off climbing.
