We’re doing the unusual, we’re going to (S)Portland early this year.

Taking advantage of smaller crowds we’ll climb all day and enjoy our evenings at a campsite surrounded by trees that provide protection from the wind and a pub just down the road.

Very importantly, as we’ll be just outside of Weymouth, walkers have the opportunity to see the Dorset coast and the beautiful sights along it, rejoining the climbers in the evening! https://www.alltrails.com/en-gb/england/dorset/weymouth/walking

To our Prospective Members – we support our members in showing the ropes to new climbers, however please recognise if you haven’t had any trad-climbing training yet as a seconder or have had regular indoor rope experience (for sport climbing), you may be requested to join the walking group(s) if the climbing leaders do not feel comfortable to take you out. This is a decision we will support. There will be a specific training meet a bit later in the year.
