Portland stone has been used extensively as a building stone in the UK, and was used in such buildings as St Paul’s Cathedral and Buckingham Palace… it’s also pretty good for climbing on!

Dare we say the UK’s premiere Sport Climbing destination?  We love it, anyway, especially when the cool sea beckons at the end of a hot day.

And if climbing is not your thing, the wonderful Jurassic Coast is a great place to explore on foot.
