We are hoping to organise a trip to Ailefroide, Ecrins in France for alpinism, multi-pitch rock climbing, hill walking, via ferrata and more.

• Date: Approx Sunday 25th June – Sunday 2nd July
• Location: Ailefroide, Ecrins
• Travel: Either drive OR fly. This can be discussed with the attending group. We’ll still need to rent cars in France if flying in.

• Insurance: This is an overseas meet, please make sure to get yourselves outdoor sports insurance (i.e. BMC https://www.thebmc.co.uk/modules/insurance/)that matches your chosen activities for the period of time you are away.

Skills / Experience

This is a multi-sport overseas meet. We expect attendees to be capable of looking after themselves in their preferred activity but of course, if you have some experience / are competent in most aspects send us a query.

Equipment

We have a list of non-exhaustive winter gear items here. We are happy to try to help you find decently priced gear or ask members if they have any extras. There is at least one equipment store you can rent equipment from in Ailefroide that I know of if you’re missing anything.
