Ending our 50th year as a Mountaineering Club, we’ll be holding our yearly AGM in the Lake District. We’ll plan to try and negotiate an extra day or two either side of the weekend so we can really make a celebration of the outdoors.

• Date: Thursday 21st November – Monday 25th November 2024. The AGM will be held on Saturday 23rd November 2024.
• Time: When you or your travelling group is ready! As the Lake District is very far away, we recommend you plan to leave early in the day.
• Location: To be confirmed – we’ll be in a bunkhouse.

To our Prospective Members – we support our members in showing the ropes/paths to new climbers or hikers, however please recognise if you haven’t had any trad-climbing training yet as a seconder, regular indoor rope experience (for sport climbing), or the relevant outdoor gear for variable activities or weather, you may be requested to change your plans to flatter ground if members do not feel comfortable to take you out. This is a decision we will support.
